Maciej Miecznikowski (Profesor)
One of the most famous and beloved artists on the Polish stage. Musician and vocalist, songwriter, television personality. Multi-instrumentalist – he sings, accompanying himself on the piano and guitar, and also plays the trumpet, flute, and accordion. Winner of numerous blues and jazz awards, as well as journalists’ and audience awards at festivals in Opole. He has participated in dozens of musical projects: album releases, concerts, and television programs. Hosting the show Don’t Forget the Lyrics earned him multiple nominations for Telekamera and Wiktor awards, and the popularity of the oratorios from “Tryptyk Świętokrzyski” (“Świętokrzyski Triptych”) and “Siedem Pieśni Marii” (“Seven Songs of Mary”) series brought him platinum, diamond, and double diamond records. He is the frontman of the entertainment group Leszcze, with which he has released five albums and several hits. He has also recorded solo albums, including his own album “Będzie z nami dobrze” (“We’ll Be Fine”) and the jazz-inspired “Czarodzieje – Osiecka, Zieliński, Miecznikowski” (“Wizards – Osiecka, Zieliński, Miecznikowski”) and “Tribute to Nat King Cole”.
For years, he has also been confirming his acting talent in theatre performances, such as: “Kolacja na cztery ręce” (“A Four-handed Dinner”), “Dzień świra” (“Day of the Wacko”) with Kamienica and Stu Theatre, “Kwartet” (“Quartet”), “Company” and “Przerwana cisza” (“Silence Interrupted”) with Basen Artystyczny, “Komedia odlotowa czyli lumbago” (“A slip of the disc”) with Capitol Theatre, and the comedy-drama “Victoria. True Woman Show” with Garnizon Sztuki. For several years, he appeared as a special guest on the Hrabi Cabaret’s program Ariaci. Jacek Bromski cast him in the series and film “U Pana Boga w Królowym Moście” (“God’s Little Village”).
He can also be heard in a duet with Zbigniew Zamachowski in the “Hommage à Blues Brothers” concerts, accompanied by the best Polish orchestras. He makes guest appearances at the Warsaw Chamber Opera in W. A. Mozart’s “The Marriage of Figar” and as Selim in “The Abduction from the Seraglio”. Together with Andrzej Krzywy, he created the musical and humorous “2ManShow”, also known as “TumanSzoł”. Miecznikowski also enjoys drawing on Polish and Argentinean tangos, on which an example is Idziemy w tango? (Let’s go tango) with Tango Attack.
He has been familiar with hearing problems for a long time, which is why he willingly supports the World Hearing Center with his musical knowledge and talent. As a friend, not only to the smallest patients in Kajetany, he performs during the annual editions of the International Music Festival for Children, Youth and Adults with Hearing Impairments “Ślimakowe Rytmy” (“The Beats od Cochlea”).

Maciej Pawlak (Beethoven)
A graduate of the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, Faculty of Vocal Performance and Acting, as well as the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School (formerly the University of Silesia in Katowice, film and television production management). He has been associated with numerous theatres and musical institutions, including Teatr Muzyczny Roma, Konzert und Theater St. Gallen (Switzerland), Teatr Komedia, the Stefan Żeromski Theatre in Kielce, the Łódź Musical Theatre, Teatr Potem-o-tem, the Poznań Musical Theatre, the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic in Białystok, the Mazovian Musical Theatre, Teatr Rampa, Teatr Syrena, Kraków Variété Theatre, the Chorzów Entertainment Theatre, the Gliwice Musical Theatre, and Studio Accantus.

Jakub Cendrowski (Kuba/adult)
A fifth-year student at the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw, specializing in acting and vocal performance.
Since 2025, he has been portraying the EMCEE in the musical Cabaret at the Musical Theatre in Poznań, as well as Simon in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Musical Theatre in Toruń.
He collaborates with the Rampa Theatre in Warsaw (Wirujący seks. Polskie love story, directed by Tadeusz Kabicz) and the Syrena Theatre in Warsaw (Heathers, directed by Agnieszka Płoszajska).
Since 2023, he has been performing as Danny Zuko in the musical Grease at TM Proscenium.

Krystian Kaczynski (Kuba/child)
He was born in 2015 in Białystok. Since his earliest years, he has been interested in music and has shown musical talent He is a third-year student at the music school in Wysokie Mazowieckie, studying violin, and a student at the primary school in Rosochate Kościelne. He is a laureate of numerous national and international violin and vocal competitions, winning, among others: second prize in the provincial song contest in Białystok, first place in the 11th County Uprising and Scout Song Contest, second prize in the 16th World Open Violin Competition 2024 (Spring Edition), first prize in the national competition as part of the Presto Festival 2024, first prize in the national competition as part of the 8th and 9th editions of the Forte Festival in 2023–2024, first degree distinction in the Siemiatyckie Smyki violin competition in 2025 and in the Opus 2025 International Music Competition in Kraków. With his image and musical abilities, he supports the “Music in Human Auditory Development” program run by the World Hearing Center: the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing. He participated in the recording of the music therapy lullabies album, “podUSZKA” (“A pillow/ under tiny ears”) part 2. He also has artistic talents. He enjoys styling and designing clothes.

Barbara Kaczynska (Kuba’s Mother)
Coordinator of the Music Therapy Team at the World Hearing Center: the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing. She is the co-author of the innovative program “Music in Human Hearing Development” used in the rehabilitation of people with hearing disorders, for which she developed compositional guidelines. She is also the author of lyrics and co-author of music for children with hearing impairments, as well as the author of the textbook Music Therapy Home Clinic, intended for both professional music therapists and parents / guardians of children, which contains ready-made sets of exercises and musical pieces for conducting home rehabilitation for patients.
She completed her music therapy studies at the Academy of Music in Katowice and obtained her NMT certificate at the University of Toronto. She is also a graduate of the Faculty of Polish Philology and Journalism at the University of Warsaw and the Faculty of Directing at the Social Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. She also pursues her passion for music as an opera singer (contralto), performing in chamber concerts and opera performances in Poland and abroad.

Natalia Kujawa (Małgosia)
A graduate of the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw. She is a lecturer at the Academy of Music in Poznań. She currently collaborates with Teatr Syrena (Six, Heathers, Wypiór, archival productions Piplaja, Rock of Ages), Teatr Roma (Jednego serca), the Dramatic Theatre in Warsaw (Kinky Boots), Kraków Variété Theatre (Rent, Pretty Woman), and the Poznań Musical Theatre (Cabaret).
She debuted at Teatr Roma (Akademia Pana Kleksa, The Phantom of the Opera). For ten years, she worked at Studio Buffo, where she created, among others, the roles of Anka in Metro and Juliet in Romeo and Juliet. She has also performed at the Contemporary Theatre in Warsaw (Z ręką na gardle), Teatr Rampa (Czterdziestolatek, Przybysz), the Polish Theatre in Szczecin (Cabaret), and the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic in Białystok (West Side Story).
She also works as a dubbing actress. Before pursuing acting, she studied Russian philology at the University of Warsaw. For her portrayal of Stefania Grodzieńska in Piplaja, she received the Jan Kiepura Musical Theatre Award. She is also a laureate of the Maryna Miklaszewska Young Artists Award.

Wojciech Kurcjusz (Olaf)
Wojciech Kurcjusz is a graduate of the AST National Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków and a laureate of the 24th National Festival “Pamiętajmy o Osieckiej.” In 2022, at the 40th Festival of Theatre Schools in Łódź, he received the Toya Group Award “Silver Tuning Fork” for outstanding auditory impact (for his role in Dyplom z miłości, directed by Agnieszka Glińska). He has performed, among others, on the main stage of Teatr Muzyczny Roma as Galileo in We Will Rock You (directed by Wojciech Kępczyński), at Teatr Rampa as Dawid in Wirujący Seks (directed by Tadeusz Kabicz), at the Łódź Musical Theatre as Sky in Mamma Mia (directed by Jakub Szydłowski), and in Bal w Operze at the Warsaw Chamber Opera (directed by Agnieszka Płoszajska, with musical direction by Leszek Możdżer). He also appears as a guest actor at the Municipal Theatre in Leszno.

Anna Czypryn
A professional violinist and singer with a clear, bright voice, a graduate of the Academy of Music in Katowice, and the lead singer of the folk band “Tekla Klebetnica”. As a highlander from Żywiec, she has been deeply connected to traditional music since childhood—she leads instrumental and vocal workshops for folk ensembles and bands (in Poland, the U.S., China, and France), and she also serves as the director and music instructor for folk ensembles.
Together with her band “Tekla Klebetnica” she has released several CDs, won second place on TVN’s show: Mam Talent, and appears on numerous television programs. She performs in Poland and abroad; she has toured in over 20 countries on 4 continents (including the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Uzbekistan, Georgia, and Jordan). As a soloist, she has performed with the “Mazowsze” Orchestra, the Polish Radio Orchestra, Virtuosi of Houston, and the Stokłosa Collectiv Orchestra.
She is a scholarship recipient of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and the IDYLLWILD ARTS ACADEMY in California (USA).
She was born with a congenital left-sided hearing impairment (microtia with atresia). As a child, she underwent a series of reconstructive ear surgeries, and in 2017, she received a bone-conduction hearing implant at the World Hearing Center.

Małgorzata Strycharz-Dudziak
Małgorzata Strycharz-Dudziak, M.D., a dentist and assistant professor at the Medical University of Lublin, has been involved with music since her childhood. She was a student at a music school in the piano class when, at the age of 13, she lost her hearing in one ear and partially in the other. Two years later, she lost her hearing completely. Thanks to the implantation of two cochlear implants by Prof. Henryk Skarżyński, she not only began and successfully continues her professional career but also plays the piano. She has performed at numerous events at the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing. Her story inspired Prof. Henryk Skarżyński to organize the annual International Music Festival for Children, Youth and Adults with Hearing Impairments “Ślimakowe Rytmy” (“The Beats od Cochlea”), dedicated to people who, thanks to advances in medicine, can return to the world of sound and pursue their musical passions.

Children
Children under the care of Professor Skarżyński’s “Słyszę” (“I can hear”) Foundation are participating in the production of the musical “Return of Beethoven”. The Foundation is an organization that has been working for years to support people affected by hearing loss. The Foundation’s mission is to create a world in which everyone can fully participate in social life, and consequently, in cultural life as well. The Foundation’s charges’ performance in the musical provides symbolic proof of the effectiveness of the methods used by Prof. Skarżyński and the entire medical staff of the World Hearing Center. The following will perform on stage: Rita Niewińska, Zofia Ślusarska, Adrian Kaczyński, Stanisław Kaleta, and Tymoteusz Mosakowski.
